Duke Startup Challenge, 2011-2012: BaseTrace won $5,000 in the Best Clean Energy Category, finishing in the top 8 out of 118 teams.
Nicholas School of the Environment Innovation and Entrepreneurship Grant: Awarded $10,000 for lab setup and R&D as part of the Nicholas School's EIE Grant.
First Flight Venture Center: BaseTrace is headquartered in the First Flight Venture Center in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
Cherokee Challenge, Class of 2012: BaseTrace was admitted to the Cherokee Challenge's 2012 class of ventures, receiving a $20,000 investment and weekly support from the board of advisers and fellow finalists. See Press Release Here.

i2i Awards - SXSW Eco: BaseTrace attended SXSW Eco Conference in Austin, TX to participate in the i2i Awards program.
Megawatt Ventures, 2013: As one of 10 semifinalists in the 2013 Megawatt Ventures, sponsored by the DoE, BaseTrace won a $10,000 grant, and will be competing for a $100,000 prize.
NC IDEA: BaseTrace received a $45,000 grant for NC IDEA's Spring 2013 cycle.
